"Despite following the instructions to switch on the gloves in short bursts (20 mins), the batteries soon (within 2 hrs) lost power. In relatively mild temperature conditions (around 7 deg C) I do not consider the batteries up to the job. Even when new, the batteries did not produce enough heat in the gloves. It hasn't been cold enough yet but I should imagine that when temps go down to 0deg C and below the low temps will affect the life of the batteries even more. I use the gloves for cycling "
