"The squirrel is still trying to get into my loft but actually hasn't got in. I am at present trying the squirrel repel in different positions. Hopefully if I try and place the device right at the edge of the loft space, where it meets the guttering, it will deter the squirrel. "

"Very disappointed that this doesn't work. We are still being plagued with squirrels digging the lawn. We reported that we thought it was faulty and we had email conversations defending the device and told to give it a month to become effective. I requested a refund but when I received the return code the email also said that the product had to be unused and still in unopened packaging, difficult when we had previously reported that the squirrels were sitting in front of it! We have decided to try it for the requisite 28 days but obviously we will then be unable to return as it would fall outside the qualifying time."

"They work well initially but are not really waterproof! I have three and in the recent rain they have filled up with water and stopped working! I have had to dry them off and hope that the will work again!"

"Ihave had this device on from the first day I got it . I am afraid the squirrels hjave treated this item as though it was not there and on one occassion climbed up it , and I am Sure the messagev was not another one. Yes I am very dis appointed with it. "Outdoor pest repeller, Squirrel - Battery powered... We had been struggling to get rid of squirrels in our loft for weeks. We had a mains rodent ultrasonic and EM repelling device, but that did not work. The squirrels got used to it and eventually played with it like a toy. So we decided to give the outdoor battery repeller a try. The device was delivered promptly, and was packaged securely. I really appreciate a company that avoids excess packaging. I am so impressed with this device. It doesn't look like much when you get it out of the box, was smaller than I had anticipated, but worked like a dream. It has a dial that is clearly marked for different animals, from wasps to deer and everything in-between. I was sceptical about this also - but it works! I plan on buying a number of these to chase off fouling cats in my veggie patch, and dogs out front who use my drive as a toilet. This is a motion sensing device so the batteries last quite a long time. I put it in the loft and when the squirrels made one of their frequent daily visits, the device sensed their movement and turned on. Within milliseconds they were running for the outside. There is one older one that is particularly tenacious, but even she could not stand the ultrasonic wave that hit her every time she tried to move into the loft. It has been a few weeks now and they have tried once or twice to return, but have been repelled each time. I love this product - it means I did not have to get the exterminator in which makes me very happy. One thing I did notice however is that when you turn the dial up, children can hear it. Mine are between the ages of 6 and 13, and they all squealed when I turned it up, even when they were in other rooms. At its highest it irritated my ears too, but I am very sensitive to sound. In the loft it does not bother them, but it might be something to consider if you use it in the garden with children around. You would definitely have to keep to the lower frequency range for your pest problem. "

"Very solidly built item, and it seems to work. The only issue is that there is no audible test facility, so the only way to see if it is working is to leave it in the garden to see what happens. The order was received the following day, so good service."

"To be honest, I think there may something wrong with it. It gives out the noise all the time and I was under the impression that it was activated by movement (of the squirrel hopefully). The noise is so irritating that I turn it off when actually sat in the garden. Am I correct that it should only be activated by the movement. Sue Parkin"

"Pest repeller - squirrel - battery powered. This seems to be an excellent little gadget for getting rid of unwanted squirrels that had decided to nest in the loft! It certainly seemed to let Mr. and Mrs. Squirrel know that they were well and truly evicted! We've left it in the loft, just in case any other members of their family decide to pop in uninvited!!"

"Although the dispatch of your product was excellent, we installed it immediately and having now had it in place for a number of days now it has no deterrent effect on the squirrels we were trying to keep away from our bird feeding stations. In fact the squirrels take no notice at all and we wonder if the unit is even working as there is no visible sign of it being triggered when we are even close enough to watch it ourselves and the squirrels simply scurry through the area that should be covered by the sensor and sit merrily on the bird station chomping away at the bird food. In fact we are on the point of returning the product to you for a refund as being 'not fit for purpose ' I await your comments. Irene Spooner"

"The noise repellent hasn't worked. The squirrel continues to eat from the bird feeder even though the machine is less than five feet away and at "ear level" with the feeder. Not your fault, I expect, but it's useless. Donald Lee"

"Dear Sir I actually wrote to you about the squirrel repellents - maybe you haven't had time to open your email. Initially I thought they were fine and were keeping the squirrels at bay. However, a neighbour said the family could hear the high pitched noise, so I turned it down and the squirrels were back. Then the second one - at the back of the house, which we couldn't hear at first started being able to be heard, firstly by my husband and then by me and our neighbours. Turning that down lowered the frequency but it could still be heard, and was indeed painful to the ears.So that too has had to be shut off. So I wrote to say I wished to return the products even though the 7 days have, by now, elapsed - I haven't £40 to waste when I cannot use these. I simply can't again risk upsetting or disturbing our neighbours with the quite dreadful noise. The blurb said they were inaudible to humans - this is clearly not the case with this particular machine. In the past I had a machine that actually was inaudible, but it eventually, after several years, broke. Please advise. Dr Audrey Coatesworth"

"I Bought the pest repeller in order to deter what I believe to be a badger which had been digging up a newly turfed lawn during 5 nights spread over 2 weeks. It's impossiible to know if the repeller is working, other than the fact that there have been no turf digging incidents in the past 2 weeks, though I know neighbouring gardens have been attacked during that period. I think it is money well spent, thank you W. Baker"
