"The repeller did not work on the first night ie signs indicated that the fox had returned. The second night was much better but although the repeller was switched off during the day, the 6 batteries had worn out during the third night! If the batteries need replacing every three nights, the repeller will become a very expensive tool!! I am not therefore very impressed."

"Only foxes and cats have come into the garden since the item was 'planted'. The foxes are wary and steer clear but are still able to roam just outside a range of four metres, which is a lot less than I wanted. Cats walk in an arc away from the item, so it is ineffective even in my small garden."

"The next morning,I saw the vixen standing behind the device, clearly not wanting to move forward. She soon collected her four cubs (too small to activate the device themselves) and took them out of the garden, and I haven't seen them since. "The Repeller has ben in place for just over a week and in that time there have been no fox attacks on my no-dig vegetable beds (our local urban foxes did not grasp the concept of 'No-Dig before this). The cub season is now upon us and I await results from the Repeller when they arrive in our garden! The Repeller does not seem to have much of an effect on grey squirrels however, some of which still seem determined to plant a nut forest or dig up a non existent hoard of last season's nuts. So far at least I am delighted with the Repeller."

"The STV 620 repeller seems to work. Since using it there has been no sign of fox activity (mess) within its its range, which is rather limited to about 12m. Its acoustic output sweeps down from about 30kHz towards 20kHz, and repeats for about 20 seconds. Some other ultrasonic repellers have been ineffective, probably because they work at a frequency which is too high - around 40kHz."

"fox repeller bought for my parents who have 2 adults and 4 cubs in th garden. seemed to work for the first 2 days - then i went out playing ball with their dog, only feet from it, repeller still switched on, no affect on the dog - and later that pm all 4 cubs were playing within feet of it with no affect. mum rang yourselves and spoke to a gentleman who didn't give her much reassurance and when she asked if their money would be refunded - his answer was no. not exactly the answer a couple of pensioners want to hear. at present it is still not working - we are waiting to see if it does or if we have to return it - with a refund !"

"This is the third I have bought. They are vulnerable to snow and ants, but do seem quite effective in repelling foxes. My main criticism is that they are hard to stick into firm ground. The spike easily slips up the cylinder and can be hard to pull out again. You are welcome to use this on your website, without attribution that might identify me."

"First, let me say that the service I received was excellent, fast and efficient. The fox/dog/cat repeller arrived very promptly and was in good condition, having been packed well. However, I am extremely disappointed with its performance. I have had the two units in place for 16 days, now and they appear to have had little or no effect on my own or visiting cats or dogs. I cannot comment accurately on foxes as they are less visible, unpredictable visitors but if the lack of effect on cats and dogs is an indicator of its efficiency then it will not keep them at bay, either. If there is no improvement in performance noted over the next 12 days, I will be returning the units for a refund"
